Have stayed at other Villa Bugis properties, first time at Villa Gembira, no issues with this property, will recommend this! Staff great as usual, breakfast included (you can decide indo or western) and got dinner provided in the Villa for a few nights. Also Grab Food is great too! However if you getting your own car transport, suggest to pickup “outside” such as at the Bintang Supermarket, as some drivers find it difficult to navigate into the villa area. Villa Bugis has their own transport you can pre-book too.Location is great, in the middle of Seminyak so close to the beach and lots of restaurants.

Simply the best place to stay. From start to finish the staff are amazing.Breakfast daily was served promptly and not to mention delicious. Pick up to and from the airport was great and outstanding communication. Cannot fault staying with the Bugis group, we will keep coming back again and again.

We had an amazing experience at the Gembira Villa. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They were always more than willing at assist with our needs. This villa is just as it appears in the photo. I felt it was more beautiful than the photos capture. There’s a great grocery less than 10 mins away. A shopping strip is in walking distance, along with restaurants and clubs. I plan to return to this villa and would suggest it to all that want a luxury, private villa in Bali.

The private villa is located a comfortable walking distance between Bintang Supermarket and the beach. It’s amenities include private pool, air conditioning, cooked breakfast, serviced rooms and security guards all situated in lush tropical gardens. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and any concerns or needs are immediately attended to.

Another great week at a Bugis villa. This time at Villa Gembira. Not as good as Villa Jaclan, but still a great stay. Kadek and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We’ll be back again next year.

Beautiful villa with amazing staff. They even helped us at midnight, and that too with a smile. We would recommend this to others. It is quite close to all the amenities and Bintang Supermarket. They gave two free air port pickup to accommodate our friend who was coming on a different date. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Once again Villa Bugis has provided the perfect family villa. Adrian our breakfast cook cooked breakfast to perfection and always approachable. Edi the guest assistant was fantastic friendly and a great asset to Bugis. The rest of the team ensured we had a lovely clean villa and pool. Thanks to Gede to ensuring our safety at the villa.

Where do I start. Villa Kebun was an amazing tranquil, peaceful Villa providing 3 separate rooms, separate dining, great pool and lounge area. It’s location was ideal allowing us to walk to a lot of surrounding venues - restaurants and beach clubs. Staff were outstanding and very easy to arrange transport to your favourite destination. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we arrived at the villas (we had 3 booked for a group of 16), we were utterly blown away by the ambience and genuine interest in making sure our stay was very enjoyable. Our rooms were amazing with outdoor bathrooms, air conditioning, mossie nets over all the beds. Facilities in the main living area could not be faulted and the service from the staff was exemplary - thoroughly recommend, would definitely like to stay again

The villas are located about 20 minute walk from Eat Street. The staff were warm and friendly and also very helpful in attending to our needs [eg. ordering taxis etc]. Breakfast was also very nice. Villas are reasonably priced for the end of January.

    We booked through booking.com. It was easy no problem at all. Check in was easy, everything was good. Housekeeping staff was excellent. Always obsessed to clean the rooms and change towels for us, It was great. The staff made breakfast for us everyday. Everything was fantastic. They clean everything after we finished as well excellent. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. We had a relaxing holiday. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.     The booking process was very easy and staff were responsive to request and questions. Arrival check in was awesome. Perfect, the team that supported, our stay was amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was cooked in our villa everyday. We were spoilt by Indonesia banquet in our villa. The villa was Fabulous, rooms are spacious. The shaved dining lounge is great, only downside was the couch is too small for everyone to sit together.

    Booked via email, have used Villa Bugis in the past and will use again. Very easy to find the driver. Check in was easy and helped by knowable and kind staff. Villa’s were away cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and yummy, options were plentiful. Villa was perfect.

    I recently stayed at Villa Gembira, and it was absolutely fantastic! The villa exceeded all my expectations – it’s beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and has a perfect blend of modern comfort and Balinese charm. The pool and garden area were stunning and made for a relaxing retreat. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Whether it was arranging transport, recommending local spots, or ensuring the villa was in tip-top shape, they were always there with a smile. The location is also ideal – close to some great restaurants and beaches. I can’t recommend Villa Gembira enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxury escape in Bali. We will definitely be back!

    Villa was perfect location within walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants, and Bintang Supermarket but hidden away in quiet laneways of Villas. Villa Gembira provides family or group of friends plenty of space with beautiful garden private, pool & rooms with joint kitchen dining area. Staff were all amazing, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. In particular Kew who cooked our delicious breakfasts and made our stay more memorable. This is the second time we have stayed here and Kew has added to our experience on both occasions. Highly recommend

    Amazing 7 nights with family
    Our first Christmas in Bali and we had an amazing time. Spent 7 nights at Villa Gembira with broader family and was our first villa accommodation after visiting Bali more than 20 times for my wife. Perfect spot with an 800 meter walk to beach, shops or restaurants. The space was lovely and quiet and was always well maintained. Staff were awesome with nothing ever a problem and the Xmas Day spread they put on was just so good that most of us couldn’t eat dinner. Highly recommend this place

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. BAR – Best Available Rate 

Cancellation Policy:

Low & Shoulder Seasons

  • Fully refundable if cancelled 30+ days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 1 night if cancelled between 29–7 days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 50% if cancelled between 6–3 days before arrival.
  • The cancellation fee of 100% if cancelled within 2 days of arrival.

High Seasons

  • Fully refundable if cancelled 45+ days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 1 night if cancelled between 44–14 days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 50% if cancelled between 13–7 days before arrival.
  • The cancellation fee of 100% if cancelled within 6 days of arrival.

Peak Seasons

  • Fully refundable if cancelled 60+ days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 50% if cancelled between 59–21 days before arrival.
  • The cancellation fee of 100% if cancelled within 20 days of arrival.

2. Booking Amendments:

  • Based on Villa Availability and based on Best Availability Rates during the time of amendments requested.

3. Non-Refundable Rate Policy

  • This rate offers a discounted price but is strictly non-refundable.
  • No cancellations, modifications, or refunds are permitted once booked.
  • In case of no-show or early departure, full charges will apply.

4. General Terms for All Bookings: 

  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and should be purchased at the time of booking, including a CFAR (Cancellation for Any Reason) policy if available in your region.
  • Early Departures & No-Shows: Payments are non-refundable regardless of reason or notice.
  • Shortening Stays: Must still comply with minimum stay rules (3 nights low & shoulder season, 5 nights high & peak season period).
  • Extensions & Room Upgrades: Possible, based on availability and at additional cost.
  • Change the date of stay to have the same stay length but the check in date is later than the original booking, max 12 Months from the original check in date (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date)

5. All changes to an original booking are completely at the discretion of Villa Bugis

  • Villa Bugis has no obligation to make any changes to the original booking. Any change to the original booking approved will not result in a reduction in the deposit paid, balance paid, or balance due, which is why travel insurance is so important to obtain upon booking.
  • Amended booking which earlier check date, full payment will still be required. Bookings made by third-party providers are subject to the cancellation policy stated by those services.
  • A new invoice will be issued and a different price in Rupiah may apply to the new invoice (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date). The deposit paid will be used towards payment of the new invoice.
