We stayed in Villa Darma which has 5 individual villas / rooms with their own bathrooms. It was a 3 generational holiday which accommodated us all very well. We used the pool a lot which was in the sun all day and the water was lovely. Great staff who were always happy and friendly and nothing was too much for them.

This huge Seminyak villa accommodation is just crying out for a large gathering of family or friends – having 5 bedrooms, it can sleep up to 10 people! Villa Darma Seminyak has large grounds, a large pool, plenty of entertaining areas, and lots of space to all enjoy together, or some peaceful time in a tranquil spot away from it all.

Located in a secluded lane off Jalan Drupadi, Villa Darma is blessed with a fantastic location for this this Seminyak villa accommodation which you can easily make the most of your visit to Bali. It’s close to, what’s known locally as ‘Eat Street’ where you’ll find a wide range of cafes, restaurants, shopping, spas and boutiques.

Just a few minutes walk away, is Jalan Dhyana Pura – a street rapidly gaining a reputation for its vibrant live music scene, quality restaurants and colourful shops. The beach too, is just a short walking distance from Villa Darma. The excellent location of this This Seminyak villa accommodation means that dining, shopping and spa facilities are all available within a radius of one kilometer!

The main building of this Seminyak villa accommodation is set behind the calming pool, is an open-plan communal space where you will find the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room has a sociable corner suite, where family and friends can gather of an evening. This suite is situated around a large LCD television showing over 50 international channels, as well as having a DVD/CD player attached. This area merges seamlessly with the dining area, which features a large wooden dining table, perfect for group meals and quality time with one another. The proximity of the living room also means that you are able to enjoy a movie or listen to some music whilst dining.
The kitchen runs along the back of these two areas, with no segregation to allow for open plan living. The modern kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, water dispenser, fridge-freezer, water dispenser, coffee maker and juicer, as well as including all the cooking utensils, cutlery, china and glassware you will need.
To the left of this main social space is a king-sized en-suite bedroom. This quiet room has a sofa and television.

The villa has five bedrooms, all of a very similar feel and size. Each room is styled in a minimalist fashion, using the large wardrobes positioned behind the king-sized bed to disguise the entrance to the en-suite. Every bedroom also has its own television, ceiling fan and air conditioning unit. Three of the five bedrooms are within detached guesthouses, arranged around the pool, with the other two are semi-detached to the main building.
All of our spacious en-suite bathrooms are designed so that they are partially open to nature. This creates a calm atmosphere, allowing you to feel closer to the natural world while having a relaxing shower. You will also be supplied with supplies of luxury shampoo, conditioner and soap.

The villa recreates the ambience of a traditional Balinese compound and is composed of several structures situated around a landscaped garden. Around the pool features sun loungers, a day bed and an outdoor table and chairs, the outdoor space within the villa really allows you to appreciate your natural surroundings.
The main focal point within the grounds is the tranquil infinity swimming pool, available for your refreshment at all times. Behind the sun loungers, a large water feature situated in a small, peaceful fishpond provides a calming soundtrack to your relaxation. There are also various other lush tropical plants throughout the garden, creating an exotic backdrop to your stay with us.

This beauttiful Seminyak villa accommodation is situated down a quiet gang off Jalan Drupadi called Gang Damai. A short walk will bring you to Jalan. The rooms were very comfortable and it was very peaceful sitting around the pool. Villa Darma is located very close to many good restaurants and it was an easy walk to the beach.       The best girls trip!
      Myself & 9 girls went to Bali in February to celebrate my sister’s 21st birthday. We stayed in Villa Darma & we couldn’t speak anymore highly of our stay. The Villa suited us perfectly & all of our needs were met. The staff were beautiful & so accomodating, we loved having the 24 hour security. Have already recommended the Villa to friends & family & won’t be staying anywhere else again. Thank you Villa Bugis group!

      We stayed at Villa Darma for 4 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. The party could not have been more perfect, Ministry of villas helped to organise decoration and bar staff, the staff cooked a beautiful Indonesian buffet dinner for 40 guests and presented me with a delicious cake. Our stay was perfect, the villa staff could not do enough for us, breakfast was cooked for us every day and the villa and grounds were kept clean and tidy. The villa is in the perfect location, close to eat street but we never wanted to leave! I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be back!

      Our extended family booked the Villa Darma to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. What a treat! Booking, check in and check out was seemless. The villa staff could not do more for us, they were just lovely and so obliging! Bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderfully clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The pool at the villa was lovely and clean and the gardens were beautiful. I could not recommend the Bugis group more highly.

      There are many, many villas in Seminyak to choose from and when deciding where to stay you look for certain factors that make some outstanding. These factors can include helpful booking process, convenient location, a high level of service by the staff, cleanliness, excellent standard of accomodation and generous outside areas.
      Darma fulfills all of these. Excellent booking process to start, questions answered promptly.
      Location – Drupadi is becoming more developed with shops, restaurants and spas all the way along so the villa location about 10 minutes walk from the top of Eat street works well. The pool are was spacious and the water warm, but still refreshing.

    11. We stayed here in January 2017 (9 of us) and the villa itself was amazing. Huge pool, living area and rooms. Very clean and the layout is perfect with all rooms opening up to the pool. We had a small party here and hired the staff to cook for us. The food was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend checking out their in-room menu and getting them to cook for you. Exceptional food and value for money.

    12. Really nice place, Villa Darma, with good security and attentive and excellent chef and cleaning staff. Great location, very close and easy to everything. High end facility with lovely pool and rooms. A few niggles like doors not closing flush and the bogans next door playing doof-doof music until 5am but villa management were very apologetic and said they would sort them out which they did.

Nothing was too small or too big for him and he took pride in making sure we were happy. They worked around us instead of working against us. He even made sure the mozzie coils were put into our rooms everynight.
      Some might complain about the very few stains on the floors etc, but this is something I overlook when the place is secure and at all times I felt safe. Especially when the place is still beautiful and very well maintained. It was extremely comfortable and the beds were beautiful, clean and amazing!
      We also stayed at the Villa next door and everything above is the same.Just smaller.
      I would highly recommend staying in any of these villas, you will have one of the most amazing weekends.

      Our only issue were the mozzies. A few of the younger children got eaten alive. It may have just been the time of year but they were everywhere and, despite spraying the rooms and having mozzie nets over the beds/cots, we just couldn’t get rid of them. Such a shame as, otherwise, our stay was perfect.

      The villa is only a short walk to Seminyak’s best restaurants and shopping arena. The villa bugis staff were so friendly and very professional. Nothing was ever a problem. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool was perfect and the landscape was well maintained! Be prepared for the mosqitoes.

    21. We booked Villa Darma after a disastrous first night in an unrelared villa in south kuta. We rang them at 10am and veiwed the villa at 12, they were cleaninf but they let us drop our bags off straight away while we went to the office to book and pay. I honestly could not have had a better time, the staff were amazing and bought us a cake as a suprise for our friends 40th. I will definitely stay again amd will DEFINITELY reccomend to friends and family. THANK YOU guys for making our stay so memorable.

    According to Indonesian Law, from 01 July 2015, all invoices will be issued in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

     

    RESERVATION

    Upon confirming a booking, the management will email a reservation confirmation and request the deposit to be paid.An initial deposit invoice will be issued, requesting a deposit to be paid within 3 business days in order to hold the booking, after which, if payment has not been received, the booking may be released.

    50% deposit is required to hold the booking and the balance is to be settled  prior to 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, payment must be made in full.

    The guest will be invoiced for the remaining balance, and will have 3 days after the invoice is sent to provide proof of payment. If the proof of payment is not received, the villa may be made available to others to find a replacement booking. If a replacement booking is found, the guest will be advised that their stay has been cancelled due to breach in terms and conditions of the booking, and any payments made, will be refunded, less any costs and difference in replacement booking amount. Otherwise the booking may be cancelled and deposit forfeited.

    For deposits, payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

    All card payments will be charged in Indonesian Rupiah, according to local regulations – the IDR amount will be shown on your statement in your cards currency, using your card provider’s exchange rate. Our Bank applies a 2.5% credit card processing fee. This applies to both debit and credit cards.

    For bank transfers, we need to receive the full amount into our account, so please ensure you apply the option to pay the bank fees at both ends. If the exact invoice amount net of fees is not received into our account, any balance remaining will be adjusted on your final invoice, to be settled upon check-in.

    With payment of the deposit, the customer agrees to theseTerms and Conditions and the management guarantees the reservation.

    For Balance payment  30 days before arrival, we accept credit card or bank transfer. 

     

     
    All deposit and balance payments are  non-refundable under any circumstancesTravel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds. Not taking out Travel Insurance is assumed to be a conscious decision, and a risk accepted by each traveller.

    If an extra bed has been booked, and then subsequently cancelled, a cancellation fee of one nights extra bed rental is payable.

    Deposit payments which have been paid for one villa cannot be transferred to another villa, unless there is an exception which is approved by Villa Bugis Management.

    Changes can only be considered greater than 2 months prior to the original date of check in, and only one time, else management has the right to charge the original invoice amount.  A new invoice will be issued and a different price in Rupiah may apply to the new invoice (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date). The  deposit paid will be used towards payment of the new invoice. In the event of a no show as well as early departure, any payments made are non-refundable. We also strongly advise you to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen medical or travel issues. We also recommend obtaining travel insurance with the CFAR option “Cancellation For Any Reason” – it is inexpensive, at only a few dollars a day. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds.

    Changes that can be considered on a case by case basis:

    Change the date of stay to have the check in date earlier than the original booking (based on availability)

    Change the date of stay to have the same stay length but the check in date is later than the original booking, max 12 Months from the original check in date (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date)

    Extend the stay (based on availability).

    Any approved shortening of stay must still comply with the minimum stay rules of 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season)

    Upgrade the number of rooms used (based on availability) at an extra cost.

    A change in the actual villa booked will unlikely be considered under any circumstance

    All changes to an original booking are completely at the discretion of Villa Bugis, and Villa Bugis has no obligation to make any changes to the original booking. Any change to the original booking approved will not result in a reduction in the deposit paid, balance paid, or balance due, which is why travel insurance is so important to obtain upon booking.

    An administration fee of $25.00 will apply to all booking amendments. Should you leave earlier than expected, full payment will still be required. Bookings made through third party providers are subject to the cancellation policy stated by that service.

    MINIMUM STAYS, CHECK-IN AND CHECK- OUT TIMES, AND RENTAL RATES

    The minimum stay is generally 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season). Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is before 12 noon. A late check out can be booked at half the daily rate, subject to availability. Rental rates vary according to the season and are subject to change without notice; the customer is advised to check the applicable rates on our website before making a booking. We do not accept arrival or departures on Nyepi Day

    The maximum number of people per villa is the equivalent of 2 people per bedroom – e.g. for a 3 bedroom, maximum is 6 people. Infants can of course be catered for with baby cots, and small children may also be permitted to stay in a bedroom with parents, at the discretion of management. More than 2 people per bedroom can of course be considered, with the addition of extra beds – the maximum per villa being on a case by case basis.

    Extra person policy:

    • Adults stay – extra bed/transport and breakfast – IDR500.000/person/night
    • Children ages 0 – 11 without an extra bed are free of charge, but if they require breakfast, it can be supplied at an additional charge of 80K per person.
    • Children ages 12 and up will be considered as an adult and require an extra bed

    Minimum stay age and booking on behalf of others:

    Bookings cannot be made by, or on behalf of other persons without prior agreement with management.  If a booking was made by credit card, the card used for the booking must be presented, or check in may be refused.

    No bookings will be accepted by guests under the age of 25 without prior management approval on a case by case basis. A larger security deposit may be requested. If such bookings as above are made without management approval, they may be cancelled by management at any time and any monies paid non refundable

     

    INSURANCE

     

    The customer is strongly advised to have travel insurance, for the unlikely event of any illness, accident, loss of personal items or other travel related contingencies during their travel or stay in Bali, and particularly covering natural disasters. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds

    REGULATIONS 

     

    The customers need to be aware that they are required to comply with local laws and regulations. A copy of passports is required at check-in for police registration, and only registered guests can stay in the villa, else authorities impose high penalties. No drugs or any illegal activities are permitted on the premises. The guests need to show consideration regarding noise levels and to respect the privacy of other guests and neighbours. Any cost of dealing with police or other authorities is the responsibility of the customer. Pets are not permitted on the premises at all times. If guests do not show consideration to noise levels or proper behavior, they may also be given 2 warnings, after which, their stay may be terminated, and required to move out immediately, without any refund.

    PARTY POLICY

    1. Maximum capacity: 50 guests for standing dinner party and 40 guests for seated fine dining in our bigger villas – less in smaller villas

    2. Music with minimum volume allowed until 10PM – no additional sound systems are allowed. Our villas are situated in a quiet residential area and we respect our neighbours, the visitors and families in other villas and houses in the area

    3. Minimum stay 3 nights during low season and 5 nights during high and peak season

    4. In Bali for gatherings of people larger than the villa usually accommodates (e.g. for a party) there is a Banjar or Local Community fee of – IDR 2,000,000 applicable. This is not from our company, but local government rules. The money goes to the local Banjar or council and provides for a confirmation letter advising Banjar approval for the gathering, and also the provision of extra Balinese security (Pecalang) from the Banjar – if there is any complaint from a neighbour, we then have this backup already. There is also a small cleaning fee of IDR 500,000 for our staff to do an extra clean up after your event.

    DRONE USAGE

    Drones are not to be used on or around Villa Bugis properties without the prior permission of Villa Bugis Management.

    FIREWORKS

    Due to the flammable nature of many villa roofs, fireworks are strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of stay without refund.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the villa or its content during the stay, this includes damages caused by other people that the customer invites to the villa. Upon your arrival, we will also require a security deposit of IDR 3,000,000 to cover any damage or losses at the Villa during your stay. This may be paid in cash or credit card and cash deposits will be refunded at check out. Please note that we also receive cash equivalent in other currencies and will return in the same currency.

    Also, please note that currently cardver payment for security deposit is no longer available due to Bank regulation until further notice. Credit card payment is still possible, however there will be a 2.5% credit card fee and it can be refunded upon check out by cash IDR.

    It also can be refunded to your credit card but it may take a long time to post to your account, so please be aware that credit card refunds can take several weeks to process by the banks, and also the amount received might be different due fees, charges or the exchange rate which is totally outside of our control – if this is an issue for you, we suggest using cash.

    Please be advised that the villa owner or management is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, illness, injuries or accidents during your stay in our villas. Delay in arrival for any reason or changes in travel schedules cannot be compensated by the management. No responsibility can be taken for failure of machinery or equipment in the villa, but the management will aim to assist the customers in the best way possible and have any such problems rectified as quickly as possible. This includes services that depend on the performance of external providers such as electricity, cable TV and internet. The management does not accept responsibility for any events that are outside the control of the management, such as fire and severe weather.
