Villa Saphir is a gorgeous tropical retreat private villa with pool Seminyak –  right in the center of Seminyak. The single-storey villa has high thatched roofs and wooden furnishings, which mix the Bali of old with modern luxurious living. Its traditional thatched roof, terrazzo floors and furnishings make this a great place for families or a group of friends to enjoy their holiday together, where they are close to where all the action is, but away from the noise.

Located in a secluded lane off Jalan Drupadi, Villa Saphir is blessed with a fantastic location from which you can easily make the most of your visit to Bali. It’s close to, what’s known locally as ‘Eat Street’ where you’ll find a wide range of cafes, restaurants, shopping, spas and boutiques. Just a few minutes walk away, is Jalan Dhyana Pura – a street rapidly gaining a reputation for its vibrant live music scene, quality restaurants and colourful shops. The beach too, is just a short walking distance from this gorgeous private villa with pool Seminyak. The villas excellent location means that dining, shopping and spa facilities are all available within a radius of one kilometer!

A closeable main pavilion with air conditioning overlooks the pool and gardens, housing the living space, kitchen, dining area and two air-conditioned bedrooms. The living area, which has a large screen television as well as a DVD and CD player, also has sofas which provide a good space for gathering as a family or group of friends. Adjoined to this is the dining room, which is furnished with an elegant table and chairs. It is close enough to the living space giving guests the option to enjoy a movie while eating. The fully equipped kitchen in the corner of the living room has a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, a juicer, a water dispenser, cutlery and china sets.

Two of the four bedrooms are attached to the main living space. The other two bedrooms are located within twin guesthouses which are separated by beautifully landscaped gardens. They feature a king sized bed, one of which can be converted into twin singles, dependent on your needs. All rooms have a safety deposit box in the wardrobe, air-conditioning, ceiling fans as well as en-suite bathrooms, some with a bath tub and all with an open shower along with exclusive guest supplies such as soap and shampoo.

The grounds of this private villa with pool Seminyak are dominated by a massive infinity pool, surrounded by lawn and gardens full of palms and tropical plants. There is also a gazebo with daybed for lazy days in a shady spot with a book and refreshing drink. There is also a BBQ bar, which is perfect for entertaining and celebrating with family and friends.
Guests will enjoy a sense of seclusion by the private pool which is surrounded by leafy Balinese gardens.

The villa is situated down a quiet gang off Jalan Drupadi called Gang Damai. A short walk will bring you to Jalan. Kayu Aya (Laksmana, or ‘Eat Street’), and into the centre of Seminyak, a fashionable area with an abundance of boutique shopping options, as well as numerous restaurants, spas, art galleries boutique shops and nightclubs. The beach is only a 15 minute walk from the villa, which is the perfect place to enjoy a stunning sunset. The villa is an oasis nestled in a quiet lane but conveniently only a stroll to everything you’ll need to make your holiday perfect.

      Awesome Villa staff were amazing nothing was a hassle. Private and yet so close to beaches restaurants and shopping. Taxis and food to your door/gate. Security outside at night and day. Checking that people wanting to enter your Villa were expected. One of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. If you wanted food was prepared in your Villa by staff. Massages manicures pedicures organised by staff to your Villa. Can’t wait to get back there.

      My wife and I stayed in Bali with Villa Bugis who have a selection of Villas available. We chose Villa Saphir again as we have now become return customers. Staff were amazing nothing was a problem. From organising massages, pedicures, manicures or just food a drinks to be purchased and brought to the villa absolutely amazing villa was magnificent private pool and all the modern conveniences we could ask for Tv DVD in all rooms all had own large ensuite and staff would cook breakfast lunch and dinner if so desired. We had breakfast every day. Staff were so helpful.Cleaners Gardeners pool cleaners security and house staff made our holiday very special. For the able bodied a short walk into Seminyak or using apps available transport came down to the Villa to collect you and food delivered, we sure made the most of that. Nothing but praise and we will surely be returning soon. Rooms towels cleaned daily beds made every day. The best holiday to relax or be adventurous

      The staff were amazing efficient and nothing was a problem. Pande, Ketut and Putu Andi from the office were amazing ran out of Bintang and coke massages, pedicures and manicures in Villa organised straight away. Nothing was a problem
      Eva and Mya their food was amazing and their house keeping was great they were very welcoming at all times
      The security guys unlocking our gate way when we arrived back from shopping opening car doors and organising a taxi when our app wasn’t working checking that people who arrived at our entry (gojek food deliveries or shopping deliveries) were checked with us to make sure we were expecting them before letting them in Cannot fault the. those mentioned are assets to the company and have made it so we would always come back here.

      Highlight of our trip was this accommodation we stayed at Villa Santai and villa Saphir staff were so helpful anything we needed they made it possible . Also without telling them saw that it was one of the guys birthday and made him a complementary birthday cake which was amazing. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and we would definitely return.

      We stayed at the two Villas in Seminak for a week with a group of friends two weeks ago. The Villas were fantastic with every room with an ensuite. The rooms were spacious and clean and the outdoor areas with pools and seating areas were the hightlight. The staff were exceptional. In fact we dined in twice with full service of the Villa Bugis staff led by Ketuk. The traditional Balinese meal prepared for us was amazing. The Villas were an easy walk to the beach and Seminak resturants.

      A lovely villa
      A very nice villa just outside of the main centre but close enough to plenty of restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpfull as are all the security staff in the lane they even came into the villa with a birthday cakeand singing happy birthday to my wife on her birthday. It is a short walk to get to the road to flag down a taxi but only takes 5 minutes. Believe me when i say nothing is too much trouble for the staff here, if we had an issue we spoke to them and it was sorted. Breakfast was always very tasty and cooked ready for whatever time you requested it for, the pool is lovely, same depth all the wY along with steps in two corners, it also has a small area that is a lot shallower.

      We recently stayed at Villa Saphir as a party of 9 (two families). From the very start of the booking process everything was so easy and smooth. Emails were answered very quickly and efficiently. The villa was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was spacious and clean and the staff were all incredible. Waking up to a freshly cooked breakfast in the comfort of our dining room, prepared by Wayan, was so appreciated. The pool was huge and it was tested every day and treated every 2nd to 3rd day. We brought our own pool toys but we were kindly gifted another toy that someone left behind in a different villa. There were lots of restaurants and spas close by so we didn’t have to go far, which is exactly what we were wanting. We used Gojek a couple of times for lunch because we didn’t want to leave the compound. For 2 families the price was very affordable – cheaper than booking 4 rooms in a hotel and in our opinion way nicer. We will definitely be back in the future and can highly recommend this place/company to anyone who is looking for 5 star accommodation, service and relaxation.

      We stayed at Villa Saphir and this was more than enough room for two families with teenage children. Beautiful grounds, big pool, separate sleeping quarters, all with big TVs and ensuites. Felt very luxurious. Location is in the middle of Seminyak, walking distance to anywhere you want to be but be prepared for a long walk down the Gang to this villa. This did not bother us one bit. Staff very accommodating about ordering groceries or takeaway food from the many venues around us. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff really lovely.

    13. As returning visitors to Villa Bugis, Villa Saphir was perfect for our stay with a group of 7 people. The Villa was beautiful and we were looked after by all the great Villa Bugis Staff – in particular Pata who cooked us breakfast every morning, cleaned our rooms, made our beds and generally made our stay relaxing and enjoyable! Villa Saphir is in a great location down the end of a peaceful lane and is good walking distance to Eat Street and lots of shopping.
      The pool and gardens were maintained daily and we really didn’t want for anything.
      I would highly recommend the Villa Bugis group – the Villas are just beautiful & luxurious, the staff are always helpful and do a great job of taking care of you while staying at their Villas.
      We will definitely be back :)

    14. We ( Mum, Dad, adult children and their partners) have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Saphir. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The villa is spacious and yet still feels intimate and friendly. The pool was perfect, warm enough to stay in for hours but cool enough to be refreshing. The staff were helpful, unobtrusive and friendly. The location is good, handy to shopping and dining although we enjoyed the villa so much it was sometimes a struggle to get motivated to go out! Next time we will stay longer, seven days didn’t seem enough.

    15. Group of 8 of us staying at two Villas – Saphir and Alam. These are in the same complex in Seminyak, great location with 5 minute walk into main street. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby Villas were perfect for us, a room each with fantastic central area for meals and socialising. Staff are fantastic taking great care of us and always on hand when required. Bugis provided a couple of chefs for a seafood dinner cooked for us at the Villa, highly recommend this.

    16. This is our fourth Villa Bugis villa stay and once again not disappointed, had a great time. First time at Villa Saphir and it won’t be the last. Villa as described on the website. The staff friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The villa clean and well equipped with everything you need. The pool was wonderful after a day of shopping nearby. Location good. Special thanks to Mr Peter for the loan of the esky, truly wonderful thank you. I highly recommend this Villa.

    17. Stayed at Villa Saphir in a group of 10 girls and can not recommend highly enough. With 4 mini villas within a huge villa this villa was amazing. The pool/area is huge. The breakfast was amazing (pancakes are the best!) staff came in every day without been ‘too in your face’ and did an amazing job each morning. Staff were very helpful when asked where we could get out washing done and had it done by the next day for only a couple of dollars.
      Have recommend this Villa to anyone that asks and will definatly be back in no time.

      Location excellent with the exception of Saphir being at the end of a long driveway and many taxi’s reluctant to enter. Pool and garden area was a highlight. Pool was very large, gazebo with sunbed fantastic and gardens very tranquil. Staff could not be friendlier!!

    19. My family and parents travelled here on the 2nd October 2016 for a week. We were 4 adults, and 3 children (aged 9, 8 & just 2). Villa was as advertised and pictured. Cleaning/Staff A daily a troop of staff and gardeners bustled in for 30/40mins and blitzed everything each morning. The staff were polite, unobtrusive, friendly and efficient. Villa The Villa was well presented and little extras such as mozzie spray and room spray were in every room. Lots of filtered water in 19l bottles in the main area, small bottled water on each bedside replaced daily, clean bedding. Comfy beds – both soft and firm depending on which room you stayed). Breakfast We had a choice of pancakes, american (bacon and egg) or indonesian (rice & noodles) breakfast daily. Also to choose the time. In-Villa Dining The in-villa dining options were good. Value was good and plenty to eat. Around 1million rupee for 4 adults and 2 kids inc food (depends on which meal you choose though). All cooked by an army of villa-chefs. Pool Pool was amazingly huge and had 3 steps in 1 corner of each end. My only ‘complaint’ is that I am short at 5ft4 (164cm) and i was on tiptoes in all areas of the pool in order to touch the bottom – very deep! Kept the kids fit though but I found it difficult to swim with our toddler when she was in the pool. Husband at 5ft10 had no issues. Clean water tested daily. No sharp edges. We had a pool fence installed which sectioned off the main area and 2 bedrooms but the 2 by the pool rooms were ‘inside’ the pool area. This was fine for us as meant the pool was accessible and we were very pleased all the staff closed the gate. Whilst its not up to Australian safety standards i’d expect all parents to be vigilant with ids by the pool anyway BUT the fence did give us much more peace of mind that if we hadn’t have had it. We would have it again. It wasn’t expensive at around about $10 a day. Location The villa is almost at the end of a long narrow driveway ( 4-5 min hot stroll to the road). This is great for peace and quiet but not great if you run out of beers and want to pop to the shop! or if its pouring with rain (although lots of umbrellas were provided). Taxi to Eat street can be negotiated for 30-40k R. However they start at 70/80k … its worth noting that you can get to Kuta which is a 25 min drive for 80k. There are plenty of 7-seater taxis around (not bluebirds). We actually found these to be in far better condition with better aircon than the metered/negotiable Bluebirds. Booking Booking was relatively quick and very easy. We paid 50% deposit upon confirmation by creditcard and the remaining 50% a month prior to departure. Airport Transfer Included and so much easier than finding a cab when travelling with children! Espeically when its so humid. We’d definitely rent one of these Villas again. Although we’ll try a different area next time so we can explore a new area. Thanks everyone! :-)

    20. This was the best place in Bali, it is local to shops, restaurants and beaches. The villa is huge and great for larger groups and the staff are outstanding, there is nothing they wont do for you. I would stay here permanently if possible.

    21. This is our third time we have stayed in Villa Saphir. On this occasion we were greeted with some subtle improvements that made the world of difference. In our bathroom the small outdoor garden had been replaced by a fish pond with a number of energetic fish that splashed about and welcomed our arrival. there was a new large Buddha water feature adjacent to the pool and the fencing had been significantly improved by the instalment of high screens blocking out neighbouring villas and hotels. As always the staff were awesome. Always so eager to help and ensure that our stay was memorable and relaxing. We love the location near Jl Drupadi which continues to develop and extend the choice of eateries and spas. The new Wacko Burgers is fantastic, but further up the road is Kreol Kitchen and the amazing KZU. Keep it up Villa Bugis. See you in April 2016!!

      The villas themselves are nice. intan is next to a rice party so the inhabitants of that villa did get a few mosquito bites!
      The staff are great and the price is pretty reasonable.
      Probably could do with more light in the bedrooms?
      Also breakfast in the morning is a bit slow and a bit cold. Coffee could be nicer? Otherwise pretty good :)

      Stayed August 2015, traveled with friends

    23. We stayed at Villa Saphir in Drupadi Gardens in April 2014 for the second time. We stayed originally in Oct 2013. On both occasions we have stayed as a party of 9 (2 families) with a fold out bed in one of the rooms. There was more than enough space and the kids had massive amounts of fun. The staff were brilliant and were ready and willing to tend to our needs. One night we arranged a BBQ at our Villa and invited our friends (5 of them) who were also staying in the next door Villa. The food was fantastic and there was so much we had leftovers the next day! During our stay we also arranged surf lessons through the Bali Green Surf school on Jl. Drupadi. These guys were awesome and were worth every penny! We found the Villa location was excellent with heaps of little cafes and restaurants popping up along Drupadi (and more to come I suspect). I suggest you try Laca Laca (Mexican) and there’s a great Japanese/Asian fusion café (forgot the name) also on Drupadi (awesome!). WE WILL BE BACK.

      The villa always kept tidy. Villa Facilities is amazing. Loved the pool toys.

    According to Indonesian Law, from 01 July 2015, all invoices will be issued in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

     

    RESERVATION

    Upon confirming a booking, the management will email a reservation confirmation and request the deposit to be paid.An initial deposit invoice will be issued, requesting a deposit to be paid within 3 business days in order to hold the booking, after which, if payment has not been received, the booking may be released.

    50% deposit is required to hold the booking and the balance is to be settled  prior to 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, payment must be made in full.

    The guest will be invoiced for the remaining balance, and will have 3 days after the invoice is sent to provide proof of payment. If the proof of payment is not received, the villa may be made available to others to find a replacement booking. If a replacement booking is found, the guest will be advised that their stay has been cancelled due to breach in terms and conditions of the booking, and any payments made, will be refunded, less any costs and difference in replacement booking amount. Otherwise the booking may be cancelled and deposit forfeited.

    For deposits, payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

    All card payments will be charged in Indonesian Rupiah, according to local regulations – the IDR amount will be shown on your statement in your cards currency, using your card provider’s exchange rate. Our Bank applies a 2.5% credit card processing fee. This applies to both debit and credit cards.

    For bank transfers, we need to receive the full amount into our account, so please ensure you apply the option to pay the bank fees at both ends. If the exact invoice amount net of fees is not received into our account, any balance remaining will be adjusted on your final invoice, to be settled upon check-in.

    With payment of the deposit, the customer agrees to theseTerms and Conditions and the management guarantees the reservation.

    For Balance payment  30 days before arrival, we accept credit card or bank transfer. 

     

     
    All deposit and balance payments are  non-refundable under any circumstancesTravel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds. Not taking out Travel Insurance is assumed to be a conscious decision, and a risk accepted by each traveller.

    If an extra bed has been booked, and then subsequently cancelled, a cancellation fee of one nights extra bed rental is payable.

    Deposit payments which have been paid for one villa cannot be transferred to another villa, unless there is an exception which is approved by Villa Bugis Management.

    Changes can only be considered greater than 2 months prior to the original date of check in, and only one time, else management has the right to charge the original invoice amount.  A new invoice will be issued and a different price in Rupiah may apply to the new invoice (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date). The  deposit paid will be used towards payment of the new invoice. In the event of a no show as well as early departure, any payments made are non-refundable. We also strongly advise you to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen medical or travel issues. We also recommend obtaining travel insurance with the CFAR option “Cancellation For Any Reason” – it is inexpensive, at only a few dollars a day. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds.

    Changes that can be considered on a case by case basis:

    Change the date of stay to have the check in date earlier than the original booking (based on availability)

    Change the date of stay to have the same stay length but the check in date is later than the original booking, max 12 Months from the original check in date (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date)

    Extend the stay (based on availability).

    Any approved shortening of stay must still comply with the minimum stay rules of 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season)

    Upgrade the number of rooms used (based on availability) at an extra cost.

    A change in the actual villa booked will unlikely be considered under any circumstance

    All changes to an original booking are completely at the discretion of Villa Bugis, and Villa Bugis has no obligation to make any changes to the original booking. Any change to the original booking approved will not result in a reduction in the deposit paid, balance paid, or balance due, which is why travel insurance is so important to obtain upon booking.

    An administration fee of $25.00 will apply to all booking amendments. Should you leave earlier than expected, full payment will still be required. Bookings made through third party providers are subject to the cancellation policy stated by that service.

    MINIMUM STAYS, CHECK-IN AND CHECK- OUT TIMES, AND RENTAL RATES

    The minimum stay is generally 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season). Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is before 12 noon. A late check out can be booked at half the daily rate, subject to availability. Rental rates vary according to the season and are subject to change without notice; the customer is advised to check the applicable rates on our website before making a booking. We do not accept arrival or departures on Nyepi Day

    The maximum number of people per villa is the equivalent of 2 people per bedroom – e.g. for a 3 bedroom, maximum is 6 people. Infants can of course be catered for with baby cots, and small children may also be permitted to stay in a bedroom with parents, at the discretion of management. More than 2 people per bedroom can of course be considered, with the addition of extra beds – the maximum per villa being on a case by case basis.

    Extra person policy:

    • Adults stay – extra bed/transport and breakfast – IDR500.000/person/night
    • Children ages 0 – 11 without an extra bed are free of charge, but if they require breakfast, it can be supplied at an additional charge of 80K per person.
    • Children ages 12 and up will be considered as an adult and require an extra bed

    Minimum stay age and booking on behalf of others:

    Bookings cannot be made by, or on behalf of other persons without prior agreement with management.  If a booking was made by credit card, the card used for the booking must be presented, or check in may be refused.

    No bookings will be accepted by guests under the age of 25 without prior management approval on a case by case basis. A larger security deposit may be requested. If such bookings as above are made without management approval, they may be cancelled by management at any time and any monies paid non refundable

     

    INSURANCE

     

    The customer is strongly advised to have travel insurance, for the unlikely event of any illness, accident, loss of personal items or other travel related contingencies during their travel or stay in Bali, and particularly covering natural disasters. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds

    REGULATIONS 

     

    The customers need to be aware that they are required to comply with local laws and regulations. A copy of passports is required at check-in for police registration, and only registered guests can stay in the villa, else authorities impose high penalties. No drugs or any illegal activities are permitted on the premises. The guests need to show consideration regarding noise levels and to respect the privacy of other guests and neighbours. Any cost of dealing with police or other authorities is the responsibility of the customer. Pets are not permitted on the premises at all times. If guests do not show consideration to noise levels or proper behavior, they may also be given 2 warnings, after which, their stay may be terminated, and required to move out immediately, without any refund.

    PARTY POLICY

    1. Maximum capacity: 50 guests for standing dinner party and 40 guests for seated fine dining in our bigger villas – less in smaller villas

    2. Music with minimum volume allowed until 10PM – no additional sound systems are allowed. Our villas are situated in a quiet residential area and we respect our neighbours, the visitors and families in other villas and houses in the area

    3. Minimum stay 3 nights during low season and 5 nights during high and peak season

    4. In Bali for gatherings of people larger than the villa usually accommodates (e.g. for a party) there is a Banjar or Local Community fee of – IDR 2,000,000 applicable. This is not from our company, but local government rules. The money goes to the local Banjar or council and provides for a confirmation letter advising Banjar approval for the gathering, and also the provision of extra Balinese security (Pecalang) from the Banjar – if there is any complaint from a neighbour, we then have this backup already. There is also a small cleaning fee of IDR 500,000 for our staff to do an extra clean up after your event.

    DRONE USAGE

    Drones are not to be used on or around Villa Bugis properties without the prior permission of Villa Bugis Management.

    FIREWORKS

    Due to the flammable nature of many villa roofs, fireworks are strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of stay without refund.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the villa or its content during the stay, this includes damages caused by other people that the customer invites to the villa. Upon your arrival, we will also require a security deposit of IDR 3,000,000 to cover any damage or losses at the Villa during your stay. This may be paid in cash or credit card and cash deposits will be refunded at check out. Please note that we also receive cash equivalent in other currencies and will return in the same currency.

    Also, please note that currently cardver payment for security deposit is no longer available due to Bank regulation until further notice. Credit card payment is still possible, however there will be a 2.5% credit card fee and it can be refunded upon check out by cash IDR.

    It also can be refunded to your credit card but it may take a long time to post to your account, so please be aware that credit card refunds can take several weeks to process by the banks, and also the amount received might be different due fees, charges or the exchange rate which is totally outside of our control – if this is an issue for you, we suggest using cash.

    Please be advised that the villa owner or management is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, illness, injuries or accidents during your stay in our villas. Delay in arrival for any reason or changes in travel schedules cannot be compensated by the management. No responsibility can be taken for failure of machinery or equipment in the villa, but the management will aim to assist the customers in the best way possible and have any such problems rectified as quickly as possible. This includes services that depend on the performance of external providers such as electricity, cable TV and internet. The management does not accept responsibility for any events that are outside the control of the management, such as fire and severe weather.
