Everything You Need to Know Before Booking Your Villa Seminyak

1. Booking, rates & Payments

Q: What is the benefit of booking my seminyak villa directly with villa bugis?

  • Best Price Guaranteed: Booking directly through our official website saves you up to 40% compared to online travel agencies (OTAs) and third-party platforms by completely cutting out middleman commissions.

Q: What are your minimum stay requirements and seasonal dates?

  • Low & Shoulder Seasons: A minimum stay of 3 nights applies.
  • Low Season: January 6 – March 30; November 1 – December 19.
  • Shoulder Season: March 31 – May 31; September 1 – October 31.
  • High & Peak Seasons: A minimum stay of 5 nights applies.
  • High Season: June 1 – August 31.
  • Peak Season: December 20 – January 5.

Q: What is your deposit and payment schedule?

  • Securing Your Villa: A 30% deposit is required within 3 business days of receiving your initial invoice to hold your reservation, otherwise the booking may be released.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining 70% balance must be fully settled at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept secure credit card payments (Visa or Mastercard) or direct bank transfers for your convenience.

Q: What is your cancellation and booking amendment policy?

Full Rates (Best Available Rate)

Low & Shoulder Seasons (BAR Rates): Fully refundable if cancelled 30+ days before arrival. Cancellations between 29–7 days incur a 1-night fee; 6–3 days incur a 50% fee; and 100% fee within 2 days of arrival.

High Season (BAR Rates): Fully refundable if cancelled 45+ days before arrival. Cancellations between 44–14 days incur a 1-night fee; 13–7 days incur a 50% fee; and 100% fee within 6 days of arrival.

Peak Season (BAR Rates): Fully refundable if cancelled 60+ days before arrival. Cancellations between 59–21 days incur a 50% fee; 100% fee within 20 days of arrival.

Promotional Rates

Non-Refundable Promo Rates: Discounted promotional rates are strictly non-refundable and non-modifiable once booked.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance Recommendation: We strongly advise purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including a Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) policy, at the time of booking to protect against unexpected trip modifications.

2. Arrival, departure & logistics

Q: What are your standard check-in and check-out times?

  • Check-In Time: From 2:00 PM onwards.
  • Check-Out Time: Before 12:00 PM (Noon).
  • Late Check-Out Requests: Subject to villa availability, a late check-out up to 6:00 PM can be secured for a fee equal to half the daily rental rate.
  • Nyepi Day Notice: Please note that we cannot process any guest arrivals or departures on Nyepi Day (Bali's official Day of Silence), as the entire island closes down, including the airport.

Q: Is an airport transfer included with my villa booking?

  • Seamless Airport Arrival: Yes, premium airport transfers are typically included with your direct booking to ensure your group travels smoothly from the terminal straight to your villa lounge.
  • Easy Flight Coordination: Simply provide your flight details to our reservation team prior to arrival, and a dedicated private driver will be waiting for you at the Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) arrivals hall.
  • Additional Island Transport: Our on-site guest services team can easily arrange additional private car drop-offs, full-day drivers for Ubud/Uluwatu day trips, or eco-friendly e-bike rentals during your stay.

3. In-villa services, staff & amenities

Q: What daily services and staff are included during my stay?

  • Dedicated Villa Attendants: Every property features dedicated daily housekeeping and villa staff to handle cleaning, logistics, and turndown services so you can completely relax.
  • Professional Management Team: Backed by strict property maintenance schedules, on-site technical teams, and an experienced property manager, ensuring any issue is fixed immediately.
  • 24 Hours Service: Our Guest Assistance Team is available from 08:00 to 23:00 to help with anything you need, including groceries, transportation, and tour bookings.
  • After 23:00, our Security Team is available to assist with urgent requests, such as late-night pharmacy visits.
  • Just give us a call, we're here to help make your stay comfortable and stress-free.
  • Round-the-Clock Security: Enjoy absolute peace of mind with 24-hour on-site security guards stationed across all our central Seminyak villa clusters.

Q: How does dining work? is breakfast included?

  • Complimentary In-Villa Breakfast: Every direct booking includes a fresh, complimentary breakfast prepared by your personal villa staff and served table-side on your schedule.
  • Floating Breakfast Experience: Guests can request a memorable Balinese floating breakfast served right in their private swimming pool.
  • In-Villa Private Dining Menus: Order fresh lunch or dinner directly to your villa from our curated service menu.
  • Deadlines: Lunch orders must be placed one day in advance or at the latest at 9:00 AM on the same day; dinner orders must be submitted by 12:00 PM for same-day service.
  • Minimum Spend: A minimum spend of IDR 200K per person (minimum 2 persons) applies for food and beverages.

Q: Can you arrange in-villa wellness and spa treatments?

  • Poolside Pampering: Skip the hassle of coordinating group appointments across town. Our team can seamlessly arrange for professional therapists from Seminyak Spa Bali to deliver luxury treatments right inside your villa.

Q: Is luggage storage available?

Yes, complimentary luggage storage is available for guests before check-in and after check-out,. Please contact our team if you require assistance with storing your luggage.

Q: Can you arrange a birthday surprise during my stay?

Yes, we offer birthday arrangements upon request. Please contact our reservation in advance team at least 48 hours before arrival to discuss available options and pricing.

4. Your villa & your stay

Q: Can you provide extra beds or baby cots for children?

Yes. We can arrange:

  • Extra bed: IDR 500,000 per night (maximum 2 per villa)
  • Baby cot: 1 free, subject to availability — additional cots are IDR 100,000 per night.
  • Babysitting: IDR 100,000 per hour

Q: Is pool fencing available for young children?

Yes, temporary pool fencing can be arranged for an additional fee depending on pool size (typically IDR 250,000–350,000 per night). We recommend requesting this in advance of your stay, especially if travelling with toddlers.

Q: Are pets allowed in Villa Bugis villas?

Our villas are not currently set up to accommodate pets, in order to maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards for all guests. If you have a specific request, contact our team directly and we'll see what we can do.

Q: What happens if there's a power or water outage during my stay?

Bali occasionally experiences short power or water interruptions, particularly during the wet season. All Villa Bugis villas have backup measures in place, and our on-site technical team responds immediately to any disruption. If anything affects your comfort, contact our Guest Assistance Team (available 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM) and we'll resolve it as quickly as possible.

Q: What if something in the villa breaks or stops working during my stay?

Just let us know — our on-site technical team and property manager are on call to fix issues quickly, usually the same day. Contact your villa attendant or message our Guest Assistance Team directly; you won't need to wait on hold or submit a ticket.

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement to book a villa?

The lead guest making the booking must be at least 21 years old and present at check-in with valid photo ID matching the reservation name. Guests under this age travelling with a registered adult are very welcome.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. BAR – Best Available Rate 

Cancellation Policy:

Low & Shoulder Seasons

  • Fully refundable if cancelled 30+ days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 1 night if cancelled between 29–7 days before arrival.
  • Cancellation fee of 50% if cancelled between 6–3 days before arrival.
  • The cancellation fee of 100% if cancelled within 2 days of arrival.

High Seasons

  • Fully refundable if cancelled 45+ days before arrival.

2. Booking Amendments:

  • Based on Villa Availability and based on Best Availability Rates during the time of amendments requested.

3. Non-Refundable Rate Policy

  • This rate offers a discounted price but is strictly non-refundable.
  • No cancellations, modifications, or refunds are permitted once booked.
  • In case of no-show or early departure, full charges will apply.

4. General Terms for All Bookings: 

  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and should be purchased at the time of booking, including a CFAR (Cancellation for Any Reason) policy if available in your region.
  • Early Departures & No-Shows: Payments are non-refundable regardless of reason or notice.
  • Shortening Stays: Must still comply with minimum stay rules (3 nights low & shoulder season, 5 nights high & peak season period).
  • Extensions & Room Upgrades: Possible, based on availability and at additional cost.
  • Change the date of stay to have the same stay length but the check in date is later than the original booking, max 12 Months from the original check in date (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date)

5. All changes to an original booking are completely at the discretion of Villa Bugis

  • Villa Bugis has no obligation to make any changes to the original booking. Any change to the original booking approved will not result in a reduction in the deposit paid, balance paid, or balance due, which is why travel insurance is so important to obtain upon booking.
  • Amended booking which earlier check date, full payment will still be required. Bookings made by third-party providers are subject to the cancellation policy stated by those services.
  • A new invoice will be issued and a different price in Rupiah may apply to the new invoice (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date). The deposit paid will be used towards payment of the new invoice
