The master bedroom is located in the upper level of the main building overlooking the swimming pool and tropical garden.       We picked Villa Nakula for our recent stay in Seminyak to accommodate my parents, my husband and I and my 2yo. Both main bedrooms have their own bathrooms so we didn’t need to share and the upstairs bathroom had a beautiful outdoor shower which made for a lovely start to each day. The villa is spacious and has plenty of room for lounging by the pool or enjoying one of their amazing breakfasts (I highly recommend the Indonesian option) The staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming to all of us and we were sad to say good bye. Our villa was just a short walk from Eat Street, The Flea Market, Seminyak Beach and Seminyak Village. We were able to cool off every afternoon with my toddler in the pool and refresh ourselves before a night out. It was also super easy to order food or groceries off Gojek when we felt like staying in. All in all the villa itself and the staff made for an amazing experience on our first trip to Bali and we will definitely rebook on our next trip. Thank you so much Villa Bugis crew!

      We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Nakula. It is as luxurious as the photos depict. The villa has great visual privacy with walls and greenery all round. The villa staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay: from airport pickup and welcome orientation to twice-daily cleaning through to departure arrangements. Also the supervisor monitors WhatsApp so, if we needed anything, it was easy to ask and response was immediate. The location is excellent: just a few minutes walk from “Eat Street” lined with restaurants and shops. I could walk to the beach in under 10 minutes. We would definitely go back.

      We were offered a split stay due to Vilas were booked at for our dates. Best thing we ever did. We were able to experience two villas. Kupu Kupu 1 was villa one, amazing villa, good location, staff are amazing. Can get a little loud at night. Second villa was villa Nakula, amazing villa, so much space, three bedrooms, good location, no bars or clubs around. Villa Bugis staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

      We stayed in Villa Nakula which is part of the Bugis group. Amazingly set out and presented villa, in which everything has been thought of. The highlights were the pool, garden and outdoor lounge area (and the outdoor shower on the first floor). As two couples with kids we enjoyed handing around the lounge area then going into the separate rooms at night. Short walk to all cafe’s and restaurants. All staff were very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was lovingly cooked anytime you wished with a fair range of variety. Would go back if we were to visit again based on location and the invitation for a 5% discount if we stay again

    9. My husband and myself stayed at Villa Nakula for 11 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were excellent and very efficient. Were also very friendly and helpful. Villa was cleaned to a high standard daily. Breakfast of our choice at a time that suited us. Pool and garden were cleaned/checked every day, at the same time as the villa cleaning – very efficient. Mosquito coils were supplied and lit both in the morning and late afternoon. Lots of bug spray was supplied and topped up all the time. Mosquito net on the bed was great – clean, and no holes! TV entertainment system was great – it had an Apple TV so we could even access our own Netflix, Stan and iTunes accounts. The villa was in a great location – easy access in all directions. We rented the villa as a 1 bedroom. Initially stayed in the downstairs bedroom for convenience, and then swapped to upstairs bedroom halfway through our stay because downstairs was a bit small. Upstairs bedroom was magnificent – huge bedroom and bathroom, and lovely cool balcony. Gardens and pool were great, and we had a really nice stay

    10. Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Nakula. It was such a pleasure to come back to our little bit of paradise after the hustle and bustle of Bali’s streets. Once you walk through the gate you are greeted with lush, well-kept gardens and a beautifully maintained pool which is just so inviting. The villa itself offers so much room: 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and large kitchen and living room. The main bedroom is massive and the adjoining bathroom and open-air shower are great. The staff at Villa Nakula are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for any of them; they were always wanting to make sure our stay was the very, very best. Thank-you!

    11. A beautiful villa in the heart of Seminyak. We initially booked three nights but extended our stay as we loved the villa so much. The villa has a private pool, a large downstairs kitchen and seating area and the whole villa is modern and well finished. Plenty of space for 6 adults, although only two bathrooms, both ensuites in main bedrooms.. Not an issue for us but may be worth considering. Staff were exceptional – cooked breakfast every day was delicious and they were on hand at any time of day if needed. We had an Indonesian BBQ one evening – the best meal we had in Seminyak by far and good value too. Would highly recommend.

      Location is just off “eat street” – the “gang” is partially lit but you never feel unsafe as there is security anyway.
      The villa itself is large, spacious and airy- well fitted out and the staff really make it special.

    13. We have just stayed in Villa Nakula for the past two weeks. Although we’ve traveled to Bali many times, this was our first stay in a villa and we absolutely loved it and highly recommend this especially if traveling with older family . We were here with two teenage boys . The villa which is actually three bedroom is very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable . It is also surprisingly quiet considering it is located around a five minute walk to the main restaurant street of Seminyak. The beach is about a ten minute walk away . The staff are all very polite and responsive helping us with special requests like getting our laundry done. We also used the services of the friendly villa driver Wayang a few times who was available on short notice . The villa will particularly appeal to people looking for a relaxed indoor/outdoor lifestyle. We will definitely be back !

    14. We stayed at villa nakula and villa umah kupu kupu. Both very modern clean villas in a great location close to bars, restaurants, shopping and more. Very Friendly staff that go above and beyond to help you with anything and everything Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

    15. The villa was amazing and the staff only too eager to help, we spent much time floating in the pool ( we brought inflatables with us, and it was the best ). We had a brief stay in Ubud, just to break up the holiday a bit, and we did lots and lots of great shopping.

      There were so many places to eat out, all within easy walking distance, great location. So we did not require a cook to eat-in, although the staff did offer, again they were so helpful, and they arranged a move to another villa for a late departure – thank you for arranging that as our flight was so late in the evening.

    16. We stayed 4 days in the Villa Nakula and must say that we really enjoy our stay there. Even that at the beginning the villa is really not easy to find and none of the taxi drive knows how to get there, when you get to the location you see, it is not far away from the food street and if you rent a motorbike you can easily get to the beach too just by using small road near the villa.

      The villa is very good maintained, it has everything you need, like fridge, water dispenser, microvawe and so on. It has also a great Samsung Smart TV, where you can also watch Youtube or browser in the Internet.
      The villa and the pool were very clean and very good maintained in comparison to many other properties.

      The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We get a continental breakfast, which was quite simple but ok. Maybe it can be a good improvement to provide a fresh juices instead of the one from the bottle (like it is common in other villas in bali) and add some more components to the breakfast, like yougurt or pastry.

      The villa offer a good level of privacy, because it has it own entrance from the street and you always come there like at home. There is no reception or something, but for us that also was not necessary, because we organised our stay and program by ourself and did not have any questions or any particular request.

      As I told, it is better to check the adress of the villa before, actually taxi driver can come directly there, if they know the way, otherwise you have to bring you luggage by yourself few hundreds meters.

      It also was a nice touch, that they provide a antimoskitto spray in every room for free and some stuff come at the afternoon to light the anti-moskito spiral.

      In overall we did enjoy our stay and hope to come again.

    17. Everything went very well and we enjoyed a lot our stay in Bali at Villa Nakula . The villa is very nice, comfortable and well decorated , we loved the traditional roof, the four poster beds, the outdoor shower. We also loved the beautiful garden with the pool : very nice plants and well maintained . All the villa staff was extremely nice and efficient , when an air con was not working they fixed it very rapidly, they organised at our demand some nice massages at the villa .(We have given a nice tip at the end to show our appreciation) . We were sad to fly back yesterday .

    19. We absolutely loved staying in Villa Nakula. The villa is not only beautiful but very comfortable and suitable for our young family. Our one year old loved exploring the villa and swimming in the pool. The villa is well set up if you have a child that still has day naps. We only used the upstairs main bedroom, which is huge and decorated really nicely. We would put our little one to sleep in the cot in the main bedroom during the day and then hang out downstairs in the living area and around the pool, and still be close enough to hear when she woke up. The staff are excellent and very attentive. We had to hire a high chair for our little one for use while staying in the villa which was an easy process and fairly cheap, however it would be an added bonus if the villa included one. Overall we loved this villa and will definitely stay again!

      This villa is located only a 3 minute walk to eat street in Seminyak but for those not fmiliar with the way things are in Bali, they could be put off by the accessway through to the restaurants and shops. Its is a narrow lane which does require some attention as it has lots of pot holes so you do need to watch your walk. There is virtually no lighting in that ane at night so could be a hazard. However the property did provide a torch and sometimes the security guards would shine their torch to light the way. We did not feel in the slightest bit concerned for our personal safety, its just the uneven walking surface that is of concern. The villa itself was fantastic, secure, all the services advertised were provided, breakfast cooked every day in the villa for us, attention by staff every day to bringing mosquito coils and lighting them. This was our 2nd stay in Bali using Vlla Bugis. we would go again but am beginning to look at other options as they are not cheap. Last year we were a group of 8 in a 4 bedroom villa and that was financially okay but 2 people paying for a villa 2 bedroom villa on your own is abit expensive.There are others literally opposite that are cheaper and for just 1 bedroom but some of the reviews were less than favourable. These are operated by a different company. The pool was great, the air con worked in the bedroom and we will return. Really liked the helpful staff. Plenty of facilities on the main street such as almost every restaurant type that you could wish for, there was a medical centre, there are a couple of supermarkets, a sprinkling of market type shops plus lots of the regular shops. Massage place just 4 minutes from the villa 80000Rupiah for a 1 hour foot massage.

    21. My family and friends stayed in Villa Nakula and Villa Arjuna which are right next to each other which was great being a group of 10. The villas are beautifully maintained, spacious and an oasis from the outside world. The upstairs bedroom is very roomy, has a lovely balcony and large ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom is located downstairs and overlooks the pool and living area and has its own bathroom. Each villa has its own pool which is a must in the Bali heat. The staff was wonderful, always checking with us if we needed anything and only a phone call away if we needed them. Located right in Seminyak only a minutes walk to “Eat Street” which has lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and little supermarkets with ATMS. Only a short walk to the beach and very close to Seminyak Markets. Taxis are everywhere so easy to move around. Potato Head and Ku De Ta are only a short walk away. I highly recommend these villas.

    22. It’s the little things that make all the difference

      What is it that brings you to a villa, and yet what are the things that bring you back? At Nakula Villa we were pleasantly surprised by all the little touches that made this stay so special, from the nespresso coffee machine and surround sound music system, to the red samurai armour tucked below the stairs. The owners really try to make this villa a one of a kind. Naturally, the staff were all lovely, attentive and part of a much larger hospitality group, and it was so nice to wake up every morning by the cook busily preparing our pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Not to mention the villa is slap bang in the middle of Seminyak where you’re in walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops, from Potato head and Kudeta to the rambunctious Favela just around the corner. We had a fantastic time staying here and we’ll be back for sure.

      Staff : were excellent, very friendly, cleaned villa very well and cooked a delicious breakfast.
      Accomodaltion : clean, spacious and well equiped. This villa was lovely with the open area downstairs which was perfect for relaxing at night time. The outdoor shower was a treat and the fans and air conditioning provided relief from the heat. The garden was well maintained and made the area around the pool even more enjoyable.

      We find Villa Bugis villas excellent, cannot find any others to compare. We have stayed in Bima, An Tn and now Nakula. We have Mahkota booked for next year. All the staff are wonderful and very willing to help you. Kadek our housekeeper was extremely good, kept the villa very clean and tidy and made excellent breakfasts and she was very friendly.     According to Indonesian Law, from 01 July 2015, all invoices will be issued in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

     

    RESERVATION

    Upon confirming a booking, the management will email a reservation confirmation and request the deposit to be paid.An initial deposit invoice will be issued, requesting a deposit to be paid within 3 business days in order to hold the booking, after which, if payment has not been received, the booking may be released.

    50% deposit is required to hold the booking and the balance is to be settled  prior to 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, payment must be made in full.

    The guest will be invoiced for the remaining balance, and will have 3 days after the invoice is sent to provide proof of payment. If the proof of payment is not received, the villa may be made available to others to find a replacement booking. If a replacement booking is found, the guest will be advised that their stay has been cancelled due to breach in terms and conditions of the booking, and any payments made, will be refunded, less any costs and difference in replacement booking amount. Otherwise the booking may be cancelled and deposit forfeited.

    For deposits, payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

    All card payments will be charged in Indonesian Rupiah, according to local regulations – the IDR amount will be shown on your statement in your cards currency, using your card provider’s exchange rate. Our Bank applies a 2.5% credit card processing fee. This applies to both debit and credit cards.

    For bank transfers, we need to receive the full amount into our account, so please ensure you apply the option to pay the bank fees at both ends. If the exact invoice amount net of fees is not received into our account, any balance remaining will be adjusted on your final invoice, to be settled upon check-in.

    With payment of the deposit, the customer agrees to theseTerms and Conditions and the management guarantees the reservation.

    For Balance payment  30 days before arrival, we accept credit card or bank transfer. 

     

     
    All deposit and balance payments are  non-refundable under any circumstancesTravel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds. Not taking out Travel Insurance is assumed to be a conscious decision, and a risk accepted by each traveller.

    If an extra bed has been booked, and then subsequently cancelled, a cancellation fee of one nights extra bed rental is payable.

    Deposit payments which have been paid for one villa cannot be transferred to another villa, unless there is an exception which is approved by Villa Bugis Management.

    Changes can only be considered greater than 2 months prior to the original date of check in, and only one time, else management has the right to charge the original invoice amount.  A new invoice will be issued and a different price in Rupiah may apply to the new invoice (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date). The  deposit paid will be used towards payment of the new invoice. In the event of a no show as well as early departure, any payments made are non-refundable. We also strongly advise you to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen medical or travel issues. We also recommend obtaining travel insurance with the CFAR option “Cancellation For Any Reason” – it is inexpensive, at only a few dollars a day. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds.

    Changes that can be considered on a case by case basis:

    Change the date of stay to have the check in date earlier than the original booking (based on availability)

    Change the date of stay to have the same stay length but the check in date is later than the original booking, max 12 Months from the original check in date (new rates might apply based on the season of the new date)

    Extend the stay (based on availability).

    Any approved shortening of stay must still comply with the minimum stay rules of 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season)

    Upgrade the number of rooms used (based on availability) at an extra cost.

    A change in the actual villa booked will unlikely be considered under any circumstance

    All changes to an original booking are completely at the discretion of Villa Bugis, and Villa Bugis has no obligation to make any changes to the original booking. Any change to the original booking approved will not result in a reduction in the deposit paid, balance paid, or balance due, which is why travel insurance is so important to obtain upon booking.

    An administration fee of $25.00 will apply to all booking amendments. Should you leave earlier than expected, full payment will still be required. Bookings made through third party providers are subject to the cancellation policy stated by that service.

    MINIMUM STAYS, CHECK-IN AND CHECK- OUT TIMES, AND RENTAL RATES

    The minimum stay is generally 3 nights (5 nights in high and peak season). Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is before 12 noon. A late check out can be booked at half the daily rate, subject to availability. Rental rates vary according to the season and are subject to change without notice; the customer is advised to check the applicable rates on our website before making a booking. We do not accept arrival or departures on Nyepi Day

    The maximum number of people per villa is the equivalent of 2 people per bedroom – e.g. for a 3 bedroom, maximum is 6 people. Infants can of course be catered for with baby cots, and small children may also be permitted to stay in a bedroom with parents, at the discretion of management. More than 2 people per bedroom can of course be considered, with the addition of extra beds – the maximum per villa being on a case by case basis.

    Extra person policy:

    • Adults stay – extra bed/transport and breakfast – IDR500.000/person/night
    • Children ages 0 – 11 without an extra bed are free of charge, but if they require breakfast, it can be supplied at an additional charge of 80K per person.
    • Children ages 12 and up will be considered as an adult and require an extra bed

    Minimum stay age and booking on behalf of others:

    Bookings cannot be made by, or on behalf of other persons without prior agreement with management.  If a booking was made by credit card, the card used for the booking must be presented, or check in may be refused.

    No bookings will be accepted by guests under the age of 25 without prior management approval on a case by case basis. A larger security deposit may be requested. If such bookings as above are made without management approval, they may be cancelled by management at any time and any monies paid non refundable

     

    INSURANCE

     

    The customer is strongly advised to have travel insurance, for the unlikely event of any illness, accident, loss of personal items or other travel related contingencies during their travel or stay in Bali, and particularly covering natural disasters. Travel Insurance claims are to be used in lieu of refunds

    REGULATIONS 

     

    The customers need to be aware that they are required to comply with local laws and regulations. A copy of passports is required at check-in for police registration, and only registered guests can stay in the villa, else authorities impose high penalties. No drugs or any illegal activities are permitted on the premises. The guests need to show consideration regarding noise levels and to respect the privacy of other guests and neighbours. Any cost of dealing with police or other authorities is the responsibility of the customer. Pets are not permitted on the premises at all times. If guests do not show consideration to noise levels or proper behavior, they may also be given 2 warnings, after which, their stay may be terminated, and required to move out immediately, without any refund.

    PARTY POLICY

    1. Maximum capacity: 50 guests for standing dinner party and 40 guests for seated fine dining in our bigger villas – less in smaller villas

    2. Music with minimum volume allowed until 10PM – no additional sound systems are allowed. Our villas are situated in a quiet residential area and we respect our neighbours, the visitors and families in other villas and houses in the area

    3. Minimum stay 3 nights during low season and 5 nights during high and peak season

    4. In Bali for gatherings of people larger than the villa usually accommodates (e.g. for a party) there is a Banjar or Local Community fee of – IDR 2,000,000 applicable. This is not from our company, but local government rules. The money goes to the local Banjar or council and provides for a confirmation letter advising Banjar approval for the gathering, and also the provision of extra Balinese security (Pecalang) from the Banjar – if there is any complaint from a neighbour, we then have this backup already. There is also a small cleaning fee of IDR 500,000 for our staff to do an extra clean up after your event.

    DRONE USAGE

    Drones are not to be used on or around Villa Bugis properties without the prior permission of Villa Bugis Management.

    FIREWORKS

    Due to the flammable nature of many villa roofs, fireworks are strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of stay without refund.

    RESPONSIBILITY

    The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the villa or its content during the stay, this includes damages caused by other people that the customer invites to the villa. Upon your arrival, we will also require a security deposit of IDR 3,000,000 to cover any damage or losses at the Villa during your stay. This may be paid in cash and deposits will be refunded at check out. Please note that we also receive cash equivalent in other currencies and will return in the same currency. 

    Please be advised that the villa owner or management is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, illness, injuries or accidents during your stay in our villas. Delay in arrival for any reason or changes in travel schedules cannot be compensated by the management. No responsibility can be taken for failure of machinery or equipment in the villa, but the management will aim to assist the customers in the best way possible and have any such problems rectified as quickly as possible. This includes services that depend on the performance of external providers such as electricity, cable TV and internet. The management does not accept responsibility for any events that are outside the control of the management, such as fire and severe weather.
